Tara’s Cobalt Pattern Wins the Golden Cylinder Award!

Our exclusive Cobalt Liner Pattern was awarded the 2022 Golden Cylinder Award from the Gravure AIMCAL Alliance (GAA)! The Golden Cylinder award is an annual recognition for the most creative gravure operators' and highest quality gravure print projects throughout America. The design of Cobalt was the result of collaboration between Tara and the designer at Continental Pool Liners.

Cobalt is our unique blue penny tile design, that’s gold veining shimmers in the sunlight. “We really wanted a cool new blue that wasn’t the typical mosaic or water motif - we loved the idea of a penny tile but wanted it to look as real as possible with dimension and texture - we think it turned out incredible!” says Katie Venckus, Business Development Director for Tara. “We found inspiration images that we gave to Allison, and she took those ideas and transformed them into a magical design,” says Katie. “We are very pleased with the result. It’s the first time one of our exclusive patterns has won such a prestigious award.”

Allison Jaggers the a designer from Continental Pool Liners had this to say about the GAA's recognition for her design, “I’m so excited to share this award and recognition for my work,” says Allison. “I took this pattern from concept to production, working closely with Tara to bring the vision to life, and feel incredibly honored to have won a second Golden Cylinder.”
