Growing to Serve You! 

This past summer, we cut the ribbon on our newly expanded manufacturing facility in Owens Cross Roads, AL. Our new plant will double our manufacturing and inventory capacity. As our safety cover sales have grown, so has our need for space. This new facility will be dedicated to safety cover production so we have the capacity we need to offer you faster and more efficient production. We are also excited to support our community by bringing more high-quality manufacturing jobs to local area workers. 

Tara began manufacturing safety covers in 2012. We found our niche in the market by building the strongest covers available. There turned out to be a real need in this segment and the demand for commercial grade-covers for residential pools has grown each year. It is now a year-round operation that requires more resources than our existing plant could keep up with. The new 60,000 sq.ft. energy efficient facility will have space for us to keep up with current demand as well as give us room to keep growing.

Streamlining Safety Cover Templates 

The new plant will give us room to expand our safety cover template service. We set out early on to be the premier source for safety cover remakes. We did this by making it as easy as possible to send us your templates, without even removing the springs. We offer easy to use shipping bags and cover the cost of shipping the template to our location. Then we work quickly to measure your template and send you a quote. Our new facility will have a dedicated area for measuring templates, allowing us measure more templates in less time. Focusing on the Future 

Another addition to the new facility, is an area for our research and development department. In recent years we have focused on developing products that improve the ease and accuracy of pool measurement. Our first two products, the Tara Laser and Tara Laser II, solve many problems dealers have measuring pools for replacement liners. We are already working hard on the next version which we hope will be out next year. This July, we brought out our solution for measuring anchor locations on existing safety covers. The Tara Anchor Locator uses laser technology to map the locations of safety cover anchors, simply and accurately. It also expedites the process of ordering the new safety cover. These innovations were created to solve problems that many dealers have, on the job-site. Next year, we plan to unveil a new line of products that solves a problem for pool owners. This exciting new line will be a perfect complement to your existing product offerings.
