As consumers, we are all increasingly aware of the impact our purchases have on the environment. A recent survey by Deloitte showed that 68% of respondents are adopting more sustainable consumer behaviors. This year, a new sustainable solution for swimming pools has just arrived! Our new Island Dream pattern is made using ReNew™, the first high-performance pool vinyl to be certified as a sustainable product. This cutting edge liner will enhance the beauty of any backyard with durable long-lasting, sustainable brilliance.

What Makes it Unique

Island Dream features ReNew Technology. ReNew™ pool vinyl is certified to contain 51% recycled content by SCS Global Services, an international leader in third-party certification, validation, and verification for environmental, sustainability, and quality performance claims. The recycled content used to make ReNew™ is pre-consumer which means, material generated after fabrication of a product is completed but before the product reaches the end-use consumer. ReNew™ uses cutting-edge UV and anti-microbial additives, coupled with vigorous testing for weldability, chlorine, and abrasion resistance resulting in sustained material brilliance. Plus, each liner made using ReNew™ diverts approximately 100 pounds of plastic from the waste stream! In terms of performance, beauty and sustainability, homeowners can feel good about their purchase of an Island Dream liner.

Ocean Inspiration

Island Dream Homeowner Miller Wallace5The organic design of Island Dream is inspired by the ocean. ReNew Champions

ReNew BinTo promote circularity in the pool market, Tara has partnered with i2M, a leading manufacturer of in-ground pool liners. The ReNew Champions program encourages installers and builders to recycle old pool liners by placing them in a bin located at our facility in Owens Cross Roads. Old pool floats can also be placed in the bins. When a truck from i2M delivers a shipment of material to Tara, the bin will be collected and taken back to their facility. The old liners and pool floats can then be made into a variety of heavy-duty waterproofing membranes.
